Tenegen teachers

The course started in October 2009 and the "course generated content" keeps growing exponentially. We have more than 1000 posts in the forum, we have a survey with 1089 entries given by the students of Hungarian schools - by the members of the Net Generation. The teachers are blogging intensively, it's a real adventure to read them collected in the Widgami aggregator. http://www.widgami.hu/netgen .

In the second module we dealed we started to explore the pedagogical potential of e-portfolios - as a first step the participants created their own e-portfolios in the open source Mahara: http://mahara.prompt.hu. After having registered you may browse the portfolios and you will be convinced the schools did not kill the creativity of the Hungarian teachers!

The course has just begun!

The pilot course of Tenegen has just begun and the work, learning is going on breezily. Almost 90 students has begun to get acquainted with the moodle platform and after some difficulties the substantive work has the main role. Tutors now lay all their efforts on the help of their students. There is a lot to do. Breakers ahead! Bring it on!

Elindult a képzés!

Elindult a Tenegen projekt kísérleti képzése és a munka, tanulás nagy lendülettel folyik! Majdnem 90 hallgató kezdte meg az ismerkedést a moodle keretrendszerrel és a kezdeti nehézségek után most már az érdemi munkáé a fő szerep. A tutorok most minden idejüket és energiájukat a hallgatók segítésébe fektetik. Rengeteg a tennivaló, a java még hátra van! Hajrá! Mindent bele!

IKT eszközök pro és kontra

Olvasgatjuk a TanárBlog-ot (www.tanarblog.hu), és meg szeretnénk osztani veletek egy érdekes cikket.
Prievara Tibor kolléga érdekes tapasztalatait osztja meg velünk az IATEFL (angol tanárok világszervezete) magyarországi konferenciáján szerzett "élményeiről", és továbbgyűrűző gondolatairól arról, hogy az IKT eszközök használatáról mennyire szélsőséges nézetek léteznek a tanárok körében. Arról is ír hogyan képzeli el a közeli jövő tanárképzési feladatait.

Tenegen Course Open!

In June the Tenegen consortium will run its third on-line course, open to all European teachers who want to get familiar with integrating networked learning methods and Web 2.0 tools into their pedagogical practice. The course is intended to help teachers to understand and apply basic concepts of technology-based teaching/learning, and covers e-learning state-of-the-art and e-learning trends. After finishing the course, the participants should be able:

•    to describe the main features of on-line Learning Management Systems,
•    to navigate, collaborate and engage in discussions within e-learning environments,
•    to analyze the needs of their students – the Net Generation – and synthesize the new knowledge to assist with the evaluation of present pedagogical methods,
•    to identify, categorize and evaluate various Web 2.0 tools,
•    to discover the pedagogical potential of Web 2.0 for intensive on-line collaboration,
•    to create concept maps, blogs, social networks & bookmarks, story telling apps, etc.

Tenegen on the international conference "Pedagogical Evaluation" - (presentation in German)

The Hungarian Tenegen teachers carried on a online survey with their students to discover their networking attitude. The aim was to know wheter the same features of the Net Generation can be recognised in Hungary as in other countries of the world. Dr. Péter Fehér (Eötvös Lóránd University) and Judit Hornyák (Tenegen teacher) continued the reseach and gave a presentation about the results on an international conference in Hungary. TC01 - E-learning concepts

The module is intended to help teachers to understand and apply basic concepts of technology-based teaching/learning, and covers e-learning state-of-the-art and e-learning trends. If you decide to join, when you have completed this session, you should be able to

navigate, collaborate and engage in discussions within e-learning environment,
describe the main features of online learning management systems, the existing standard,
recognize the communication attitudes and the Web 2.0 based activities of the Net Generation,
select the appropriate LMS and Web 2.0 tool for achieve their pedagogical aims,
discover how these tools can be applied within the teachers’ pedagogical strategy,
describe the elements of IPR issues of e-learning developments.

Netgeneráció Magyarországon - 2010

A képzés keretén belül a Tenegen tanárok által végzett felmérések eredményeit Dr. Fehér Péter (ELTE) és Hornyák Judit feldolgozta és egy további - saját felmérésük eredményeivel együtt a 2010. április 14-15-én megrendezett "Pedagógiai Értékelés Műhely (2nd Szeged Workshop on Educational Evaluation) konferencián tartott előadásban publikálta "Mítosz vagy valóság? A Netgeneráció jellemzői Magyarországon"címmel.

Dear All!

The German pilot is starting just now in these days!

The course will be tutored by Ed Mahood (DEKRA).
I will be present as the instructor of TC01.
From Prompt Robert Farkas, Gabor Lajtos, Istvan Kiss, Katalin Fazekas, Katalin Benedek, Szilvia Gerhát.
I would like to ask Selin, to join to the pilot as a student :) too!
I would like to ask Pierfranco, Ken, Giovanni and other fellows from CNR to join to the course as an INSPIRATOR! The inspirator should take part in the ongoing discussions, motivating the students with special aspects regarding the topics!
