Íme itt a lehetőség, hogy elmondjátok a véleményeteket a TeNeGen Portálról. Mint azt már bizonyára észrevettétek, elég sokszor változtattunk rajta, de talán ez mostmár végleges lesz! Kérünk Benneteket, hogy segítsétek munkánkat azzal, hogy kitöltitek ezt a kis kérdőívet!

Dear Partners!

I am sure the old version of the portal was already familiar to you, that was while we should carry on some changes :). We have to apologize.... Please see the description of the changes as follows!

1. On the front page you find the HeadLine, with some other title left to it:

Under the titles of the content types you see red lines if in the list there are some elements new for you. If you click the title with red line, you will get a list, in which red letters show the news for you.

2. Results - in the left menubar

To help you to find the newly published (or old, but finished) results, we collect the links to them in a page. So you do not need to browse in the file manager if you want to access quickly to one of the documents.

If you click the menu command, you will get the page with the links to the results.

3. Timline

We created a timeline in which you find a graphical presentation of the project tasks. (Sorry - it seems to work sometimes not quite correctly, but during the next weeks we will correct its failures). You access it under the menu command "Project Plan"

Under the graph you find a links to the events presented in the timeline.

If you click one of them you will get details about the event, and you may give your comment to them.

Not to difficult to add a new event to the timeline, please try it! Create a new "event", by clicking the icon on the upper part on portal:
and fill out the fields (as usual with any other new content). We use three categories: Project work, meeting, result, survey and normal. If you choose "normal" the event will not be displayed on the graph!

Do not forget to click Save - several time! The new event will be displayed in the list, and on the timeline too.

Moodle and other problem children

I hate to sound like a complainer, but ...

Is there any reason why I cannot change my profile picture in Moodle. Deleting the current picture and saving deletes the current picture. Trying to upload a new picture and saving brings back the deleted picture. This is not how this is supposed to work.

Further, whom do I contact about problems with the Tenegen portal itself? (Reason: I had forgotten our common password to the Moodle site. My search of the posting in which the answer might have been found was displayed only as part of the "Meetings" discussion; it is not possible to link directly to the posting. Moreover, the returned link listed a posting by Maria at a date and time that matched no postings in the entire thread. This is a bug and needs to be fixed.)

Still, I'd like some feedback on the picture issue.

Getting into Moodle

Greetings, All,

This may sound like a backward question, but I was trying to follow the link from the Results page, and when I click on R11 or R12, I'm taken to the Moodle page.

I thought we were already signed up to get in, but apparently not. I thought we project partners had automatic access from the TeNeGEN site ... am I incorrect in thinking this? Do I need to register anew?

Any help at all would be appreciated.

Projekt Timeline (hogyan)

A projekt idősávban azok az események (events) jelennek meg, amelykeknél a 'Project..' típust adjuk meg. Tehát a 'Nomal' esemény típusok nem. A projekt típusok különböző színnel jelennek meg, attól függően, hogy milyen a típusuk. Ha egy több napos eseménynél a kezdő mellett a záró időpontot is megadjuk, akkor az időt reprezentáló vékony sáv mutatja az eseményt, ha csak kezdő dátumot vagy egy napos eseményt (azonos kezdő és vége dátum), akkor csak egy kis gömb jelzi az esemény idejét.

Az idősávban levő esemény nevére kattinthatunk és ennek eredményeképen egy kis ablakban megjelennek az esemény legfontosabb adatai szövegesen is. Ebben a kis ablakban az esemény címére kattintva az esemény teljes tartalmához ugrunk. Míg az esemény típusra kattinva egy listát kapunk az abba az eseménytypusba tartozó összes eseményről.

Az idősáv jelenleg úgy van beállítva, hogy a felső sáv heti bontást mutat, az alsó havit. Ezt mi át tudjuk állítani havi / évi nézetbe is. Ekkor nagyobb időintervallum látható át, de a részletek kevésbé.

Kedves Kollegák!

A csatolt fájl tartalmazza a portálkezelési útmutatót. Segítségnek szántuk, reméljük megkönnyíti az eligazodást a portálon folyó kommunikációba. Ha valami nem volna érthető, nyugodtan szóljatok. Tervezzük, hogy a későbbiekben tovább bővítjük az útmutatót, ezért különösen fontos lenne, hogy kérdezzetek!

We made some changes according to portal using rights because of some technical problem. When you send a content you can choose options in "Public visibility permission" list, that who can see your content. In this meaning:

Technikai problémák miatt megváltozott a portál jogosultság kezelése. Tartalom beküldésekor be lehet állítani a "Public visibility permission" listán keresztül, hogy a tartalom kiknek a számára legyen látható. Ebben az értelmezésben:

Private - Only registrated users can see.
Public - Visitors can see it also.
Public writeable - Warning! Visitors can edit, update.
Tenegen only - Only members of TeNeGen project can see, guest users or visitors not.

Default is: 'Private'. It's symbolised with a small icon under the title of the content.

There might be some problems with contents that are already on the site. If you face with some, please leave us a comment here.

Private - Portálra regisztráltak láthatják csak.
Public - Látogatók is megtekinthetik
Public writeable - Figyelem, a látogatók is tudják a tartalmat módosítani. Erre elég ritkán kerül sor.
Tenegen only - Csak a tenegen projekt tagjai láthatják, meghívott vendégek nem.

Alap beállítása: 'Private'. A jogosultságot egy kis ikon szimbolizálja a tartalom címe alatt megjelenő cimkék mellett.

Előfordulhat, hogy a már beküldött tartalmakban ez problémát okoz. Ennek a cikknek a hozzászólásaiban kéne észrevételeket tenni probléma esetén.

If you need to show a presentation from slideshare.net

There is a new and simple possibility to visualise the presentation loaded up on www.slideshare.net. You only have to do is to copy the sample of the presentation made for Wordpress. You can find this simple tag if you choose "options" which is below the "Embed in your blog" next to the presentation. You will see two fields, choose "Embed (wordpress.com)" and with Copy+Paste copy the content to here to Tenegen body.

Új és egyszerű lehetőség, hogy a www.slideshare.net -re feltöltött prezentációt meg tudjuk jeleníteni. Nem kell mást tenni, mint a slideshare.net -re feltöltött prezentációnak a Wordpress számára előállított kód mintáját (tag-et) kell bemásolni a szövegbe. Ezt a mintát meg lehet találni, akkor, ha a prezentáció melletti "Embed in your blog" mező alatti "options" -t válsztjuk. A megjelenő két mező közül Copy+Paste módon, ide a Tenegen szerkeszőjébe másoljuk a "Embed (wordpress.com)" mező tartalmát.

Lehet, hogy lassan jelenik meg. Slideshare néhányszor leállt a napokban.
