Beszámoló

Kedves Partnereink!

Elkészült egy rövid összefoglaló arról, hogy mit csináltunk az elmúlt hónapokban, mit tudunk Tenegen eredményként felmutatni (és mit nem), olvassátok el, szóljatok hozzá, véleményezzétek. Az biztos, hogy nagyon sokat dolgoztatok (dolgoztunk), ezért köszönet jár. Az is világos, hogy a koordináció nem volt egészen tökéletes, de még van másfél év esélyünk, hogy "felfejlődjünk". Az egyik legnagyobb hiányosság az, hogy még nem sikerült minden fontos anyagot magyarra fordítani, ezzel kicsit lassabban haladunk, mint gondoltuk, de részeredmények (például a TenCom kézikönyv) már vannak, tehát a jelek biztatóak. Jó hatással van a fordítási sebességre a közelgő monitoring látogatás :)!

Nagyon tanulságosak voltak az elmúlt hónapok: mi innen a Prompt-ból, most látjuk igazán, mennyi munka és kitartás kell ahhoz, hogy a mi területünkön - az oktatásban - életképes hálózati együttműködést építsünk. A web 2.0 ontja a lehetőségeket - de a technológiát ma sem egyszerű arra kényszeríteni, hogy a szolgálatunkba álljon, és ne hátráltasson.

Én azt szeretném, ha a következő munkafázisban sokkal többet tundánk beszélgetnénk, és kevesebbet kellene bíbelődnünk az "IKT eszközeinkkel" meg Murphy-vel!

Project period: July-September 2009.

In the "Palermo Minutes" I summarized all our tasks for the next months, so in this document I will point out only the most important tasks.

All partners:

Check the basic document of the project QMH. It was evaluated by Ed. Mahood (thank you!), I reflected to its suggestion in the report, here.

Fill out your records into the dissemination plan - you need not to write into all the fields, but do it, please! You find the summary of the dissemination activities here.

See the news and changes on the portal: timeline for Tenegen, you find it under the menu "Project plan". You may give comments to every events we planned, if you open one of the links below the graphics.
Please publish information about topics related to Tenegen aims - going on in your countr, or everywhere in the world.

Statistical elaboration of the results of the Hungarian survey.
Content development - Hungarian version of TC01, TC03, TC04.
Organizing the training for tutors in Hungary.
Organizing the enrolment of the Hungarian participants.

Implementation of the prototype of TenLOs,
Publishing the 4th issue of the newsletter

Dear Partners,

as we are close to the half of our project period, we went through again all the earlier and future tasks related to the WPs and the planned results. You find a very detailed descripition of the tasks in the new version of the Quality Management Handbook (uploaded into the folder: Documents/WP0_Project_Management/results/R1-PQM Handbook), and you will get a memo with your part via e-mail.

I kindly ask you to controll both documents (yours and QMH) and give me omments, ask questions about your part via e-mail in both cases: if you agree and if you do not agree with its content, or if some parts would not be clear.

This is very important, because of the future collaboration and otherwise because of the interim report coming soon in September.

The crucial part of the development is starting just now, we have to

1. finalize the Tenegen Competency Framework (create a consistency among the outcomes and assignments)

2. finish the needs-analysis,

3. start the content development (authoring, translating, proofreading),

4. implement the TenLOs repository,

5. implement the e-learning environment with all learning objects

I know, that we are just in the middle of the summer time, but you should be aware of our deadlines: the Hungarian course will start in October!

For the meeting (thanks for CNR in advance!) Prompt will present an exact desription of the module components and their technological solutions. The detailed agenda of the meeting will be prepared during the next weeks.

The communication on the portal became a bit slighter than was it earlier, after the monitoring we seem to be a bit exhausted. I ask you to follow the communication on the forum topics:

1. Course components and design WP1- to finish the Competency Framework

2. Content development, review, translation - WP3 - to start the next step

3. Learning Object Repositories - WP2 to follow the discussion on TenLOs

4. Project Management - WP0 - ask qeustions concerning TQMH

The survey is going on in Hungary in the background, but has not been started in Turkey. I ask the Hungarian partners to invite teachers to the survey, because the number of the filled questionnaire are increasing very slowly!

This report should start an intensive working period, please, keep with!

Progress Report Nr3

You find here a short summary about our collaboration, Tenegen's results completed during the last months,.Many thanks for all of you for your intensive and really hard collaboration. These months were very useful: we just starting to understand the difficulties, while trying to generate real collaboration in the virtual space. Web 2.0 is spreading the possibilities - but as we experience every day, it is not to easy to force the technology to serve our comfort.

Our intention for the further collaboration to let much more time for discussion instead of taking great pains over ICT and with Murphy!

Feltöltöttük Bessenyei István hálózati tanulásról írt tanulmányát és néhány további olvasnivalót a témakörben (Menüpont: Studies)
Dr. Bessenyei elindított egy beszélgetést a Discussion/Question to WP1 fórumon.
A Moodle keretrendszer már elérhető Tenegen portálról, külön regisztrációra nincs szükség.

!! en !!Dr. István Bessenyei presented a possible model for the first module. His idea was: in Tenegen the learning object repository (on SLOOP concept) should serve as a store for the background content. We create a database (using Sloop concept) for the learning material and other supporting learning element, with predefined descriptors (metadata), which make possible the quick search. In the repository both the tutors, authors and students (in our case the teachers) could upload their e-products. Tenegen course will focus on the collaboration - but during the collaboration the participants will use, update and extend the LOs, stored in the repository. This conception is harmonizing with the suggestions of Giovanni and Ken (and with the newest findings regarding the LO databases created all over Europe - without living community, none of the greatest LO stores are used!): we should generate first a collaboration, a community of teachers.

But: regarding Ken's suggestion on designing the course (see in Discussions/Course Components & Design) on standards, then the conception of background LO repository may cause difficulties in building a well controllable content structure. Or not? What do you think?

Istvan started a module in Moodle: "ePortfolio - as a tool of collaborative learning", as a prototype of Tenegen courses. (After consulting with him, we will translate it to English.). We invited 10 Hungarian teachers to visit this course (mainly from Tenegen VET schools), to take part in this experiment. I think this experiment very useful for in our project.

!! hu !! Dr. Bessenyei István felvázolta a tervezett kurzus egy lehetséges modelljét. Javaslata szerint a tananyag elemek adatbázisát (SLOOP koncepció alapján) a képzésben a kurzus háttéranyagainak tárolására használhatnánk. Az adatbázishoz tanárok, tutorok, diákok egyaránt hozzáférhetnének, letöltésre, feltöltésre, keresésre alkalmasnak kellene lennie - jól megtervezett, keresést megkönnyítő leíró adatokkal. Ez az elképzelés összhangban van Ken, Giovanni korábbi hozzászólásaival. Az Educatio konferencián elhangzottak szerint számos tanananyag-adatbázis azért nem működik, mert nincs mögötte aktív közösség. Erre a problémára lenne válasz István javaslata.

Ugyanakkor: ha a Ken által javasolt kurzus tervezési metódust követjük (lásd: Discussions/Course Components & Design), nem lesz egyszerű feladat világos tartalom-szerkezetet kialakítani, amelyben a kurzus résztvevői könnyen eligazodnak. Mit gondoltok?

István készített egy magyar nyelvű modult a Moodle-ben "E-portfolio, mint a kollaboratív tanulás eszköze" címen. Ez a kurzus a Tenegen kurzusok prototípusaként szolgálhatna. Tervezi, hogy elkészíti az angol változatot is, hogy a külföldi partnereink hozzá tudjanak szólni. Meghívtunk 10 magyar pedagógust, hogy tegyenek Istvánnal együtt egy kísérletet a tanulásra. Vélemyényem szerint a kísérlet nagyon hasznos lenne a projekt szempontjából.

Ken Currie elindított egy fórumot a kurzus tervezés megvitatására (Itt található: Discussions/Course Components & Design).

Ken csatolt két dokumentumot ("Learning Objectives" and "Course components"), amelyekben felvázolja az általa javasolt kurzus komponenseket, amelyekre eddig senki sem reagált. Én most kezdem átlátni a javaslatait, és átnézni angolszász kurzustervezési ajánlásokat. (Eddig azt hittem, hogy a magyar felnőttképzési akkreditációnál nincs komplikáltabb rendszer, de most már lbeátom, hogy tévedtem :).

We should agree in the course component on the basis of Ken ideas. First I would like to ask the content developer partners (CNR, ISERG, PROMPT) to present a draft course outline of their module with the descriptors they use (they like). Size only one page, please attach it to Ken's forum. Than we compare the drafts and try to agree. Going out from the outlines we can follow the design of course components. Deadline: 29 of January.

We should continue the discussion on both forum: Discussion/Question to WP1, Discussions/Course Components & Design. Everybody should subscribe on them, please.
The new forum will be started: Content development. Here every content developer partner (CNR, ISREG, PROMP) should attach a "table of content" of the planned module. I will help you the TOC from the project proposal. Deadline: 29 of January.

Ken javaslatai alapján közösen el kell döntenünk, hogy a tervezés során milyen komponenseket fogunk definiálni. Ehhez első lépésként arra kérek minden tartalomfejlesztő partnert (CNR, ISERG, PROMPT), hogy készítsen egy egy oldalas kurzusleírást a saját moduljáról. Minden partner használja a saját megszokott leíró tulajdonságait (cím, tanulási célok, kompetenciák, bemeneti követelmények, értékelés módszere, stb.) . Az anygokat csatoljuk Ken fórumához egy oldal terjedelemben, Az elkészült leírásokat összevetve ki tudjuk alakítani a közös verziót., és gondolkodhatunk a kurzus komponenseken. Határidő: január 29.
Folytassuk a konzultációt Ken fórumán, itt: Discussion/Question to WP1, >Discussions/Course Components & Design. Kérem, hogy mindenki iratkozzon fel erre a fórumra, mert a portáltól csak így kap értesítést a frissítésekről.
Indítunk egy új fórumot a WP3-hoz, ez lesz a Tartalomfejlesztés.Kérem, hogy minden tartalomfejlesztő partner (CNR, ISERG, PROMPT) töltse fel ide az általa tervezett kurzus tartalomjegyzékét. Segítségül én fel fogom tölteni a pályázathoz mellékelt tervezetet. Deadline: 29 of January.
