The pilot course of Tenegen has just begun and the work, learning is going on breezily. Almost 90 students has begun to get acquainted with the moodle platform and after some difficulties the substantive work has the main role. Tutors now lay all their efforts on the help of their students. There is a lot to do. Breakers ahead! Bring it on!

Elindult a képzés!

Elindult a Tenegen projekt kísérleti képzése és a munka, tanulás nagy lendülettel folyik! Majdnem 90 hallgató kezdte meg az ismerkedést a moodle keretrendszerrel és a kezdeti nehézségek után most már az érdemi munkáé a fő szerep. A tutorok most minden idejüket és energiájukat a hallgatók segítésébe fektetik. Rengeteg a tennivaló, a java még hátra van! Hajrá! Mindent bele!

Tenegen Pedagogical Model

Description

TPM was elaborated to establish common, reusable and unified specifications, defining both the pedagogical and technological aspects of the further training program. It gives a conceptual basis for creating clear consistency among the course components: all of the planed competencies should be strongly supported by the generated activities (searching, selecting, discussions, collaboration) and the assessment should be based on the measure of the quantity and quality of the activities processed by the teacher. All the planed activities, developed skills and learning outcomes will be a small part in developing the teachers’ ability to apply the knowledge in a complex pedagogical tasks based on network learning theory and using the e-learning 2.0 tools. Tenegen modules:

Tenegen Pedagogical Model
1.    is based on the results of the survey of needs-analysis carried on in Hungary and Turkey involving the primary target group (VET teachers and trainers);
2.    focuses on the demands of the secondary target group, of the Net Generation;
3.    is based on the results of two former LdV projects, NETIS and SLOOP;
4.    utilizes the experiences of the – in the Hungarian system accredited – e-learning course for VET teachers “E-learning – the future of the schools” developed by Prompt Educational Centre for Informatics;
5.    integrates the present suggestions and standards in the European and worldwide e-learning developments – from both technological and pedagogical aspects;
6.    integrates the worldwide achievements of the new pedagogical paradigm of connectivism.

Target group

Direct target group: supervisors, tutors, instructors who will take part in the establishment of the course.
Indirect: e-learning providers, e-learning designers, tutors, instructors who want to establish a successful online course for teachers to develop their e-learning 2.0 competences.

Result

Tenegen Pedagogical Model is the documentation of the learning objectives, learning outcomes of the Tenegen course, with the Tenegen Competency Framework (TCF) demonstrating the dependencies among the skills and competences. It defines the assignments so that they ensure the correct measure of the learning outcomes.

Area of application

Tenegen Pedagogical Model
-    can serve as a model for planning online further training programs,
-    gives a basis for educational institutes, e-learning providers who want to establish Tenegen course
-    covers all the conceptual backgrounds for the course organizers, for the instructors and tutors who will supervise the course.

Translation of Needs Analysis Questionnaire

At our meeting in Palermo, we decided that it might be a good idea to translate our needs analysis questionnaire into German. I would like to start on this, but I don't know how to go about it.

I assume the questionnaire should be available online, so I would guess that the online version needs to be translated. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to add a translation. Is this the "Clone" function, or must the administrator set up a document I can translate?

Also, I noticed that there are a variety of versions on the site: the online version is flagged "beta", there is an English version 7 ... do we know (does it matter for me) which is the "official" version?

Can anyone help? Thanks.

Evaluation of Meeting #2

Greetings,

I have created an evaluation survey (just 5 statements to rate from 1 to 5) for our meeting in Palermo last week. I would like to ask that all participants take the time to complete it (say, by 14 July 2009, at which time I'll put together a formal evaluation report (R18).

Project meeting for VET partners

It is a subjective report of the meeting for VET school partners.

It was a useful meeting because we could talk about a number of things. Perhaps, the more important result of the meeting is the VET shool partners will be more active participant in the project.
There was an interesting discussion at the end of the meeting, but we couldn't discuss it well. I think we're going to discuss it in a forum in this portal.

In the near future I'm going to achieve some ideas:

start a new forum topic about form of a virtual learning environment
- partly affect the constructivism pedagogy model
- collect my presentations and useful things in the net
- the form and range is pending
description of eXe
- it is a favourite of the Italian partners but not without a reason because it is a quite well e-learning authoring tool
- the range of the description is pending
description of the RELOAD Editor (undecided)
- it is my favourite e-learning authoring tool :-)
- it seem to be a quite difficult editor because you have to know more about SCORM or LOM

Egy kis szubjektív beszámoló a pénteki (04.17-i) találkozóról.

Mindenképpen hasznosnak tartom az összejövetelt, sokmindenről tudtunk beszélni és ami talán még fontosabb, hogy a "kötelező" publikáció révén az iskolák is jobban be fognak kapcsolódni a munkába. Személy szerint ezt már várom.

Egy dolgot sajnálok, hogy ott fejeztük be a beszélgetést, amikor az éppen minket érdeklő fejlesztésekről volt szó. Bár akár még jó is lehet ez, mivel így biztosan folytatni fogjuk a téma megvitatását a portálon. Nagy baj tehát ebből nincs, időkeret meg mindig van, ami megszabja, hogy meddig tart egy megbeszélés. Legfeljebb a legközelebbi alkalommal tényleg úgy kellene szervezni, hogy délután érkezünk és másnap délig vagyunk.

A közeljövőben megvalósításra szánt ötletek a megbeszélés nyomán a következők:

fórum indítása a virtuális tanulási terek kialakítása témájában
- részben érinti a konstruktivista pedagógiát is
- ehhez összeszedem az eddigi anyagaimat és ami hasznosat még találok a neten
- kérdés még a terjedelem és a forma, de majd a fórumon megbeszéljük
eXe leírás
- az olasz partner szorgalmazta, hogy legyen benne a felmérés listájában, nem ok nélkül, mivel egy egész jó szerzői rendszerről van szó
- a terjedelem itt is kérdés
RELOAD Editor leírás (bizonytalan)
- ha már az olaszoknak is van kedvence, akkor legyen nekem is egy :-)
- elsőre bonyolultabbnak tűnik, de ez is olyan, mint a HTML szerkesztők, van, aki kódol, van, aki vizuálisan szerkeszt. Előbbi a RELOAD Editor, utóbbi az eXe.
